A hexagonal vase, rising from the foot to a bulbous body and a waisted neck with a slightly everted rim. The faceted body is beautifully painted in rich underglaze cobalt blue with two powerful five-clawed dragons surrounded by exuberant floral scrolls. The shoulder is decorated with a band of ruyi-head motifs, while the neck is encircled by a geometric meander pattern. Above the foot, the lower body is further decorated with a band of stylised foliate motifs. The base bears a four-character Zhengde mark.
罐呈六方形，器身自足部向上漸豐，圓鼓腹，束頸，口沿微外撇。六面器壁以濃艷青花繪兩條五爪龍穿行於繁茂的纏枝花卉之間，姿態矯健有力。肩部環飾如意雲頭紋，頸部繪幾何回紋，近足處環飾變形蕉葉紋。底部書 ‘正德年製’ 四字款。
